It has been noted that there are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. Jesus is the light of the world who showed us the truth and The Way and we are able to reflect His light back into the world through our lives and our actions--the language of our lives. He teaches in Matthew 7:14 that “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his home on the rock”. And He said in John 13:17, “Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” Proverbs 27:19 says, “As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the person”.
